DPM KC assures tourists ‘Nepal is safe after quake’

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Chitra Bahadur KC has stressed on publicising the tourism sector from people’s level to invite more tourists.
Addressing an interaction organized by the Nepal-Canada Friendship and Cultural Association on ‘Mountaineering Tourism: Nepal-Canada’ DPM KC pointed out the need of delivering the massage that ‘Nepal is safe after quake’ to welcome more tourists in the country.
He added that no agreement should be done affecting the nationality and national integrity as India imposed a blockade on Nepal as it promulgated a new constitution as per the peoples’ aspirations.
DPM KC clarified that his party had not participated in the government merely to enjoy power and implement the federalism, however, to implement the positive features of the constitution.
On the occasion, former Tourism Minister Yankila Sherpa urged the government to bring out new policies to attract more tourists.
The association chair Hiranya Lal Shrestha said that the efforts should be made from people’s level to invite more Canadian tourists in the country. RSS
